“Then he brought me back to the door of the house, and behold water was coming out from under the threshold of the door.” (Ezekiel 47:1) I feel that God is really releasing the river of His Spirit. He is calling us to the deep places of His river and Presence. Deep cries out to the deep. (Ps 42:7)

I had a vision after a friend of mine prayed for me. We were praying for a release of finances. She asked me if I could see the river of finances. I said, “No.” She prayed again three times. Each time I answered that I could not see it. She encouraged me to look again. “Come on, Lisa. You know the river. You flow in the prophetic and you move in healing. It’s the same river!”

I strained hard to get in the river. I felt God say, “Just relax,” so I began to just relax and worship Him. I had my eyes closed and then I began to see a ticker tape with numbers heading toward me. Next, I clearly saw a fast paced river with many numbers floating along. These numbers were racing by in the rapids. I saw a large number 8 about three feet in height. Numbers were floating along in the water like wood traveling in the river.

The numbers varied in amounts and value. They also varied in their height, width or size. I watched standing on the river bank as the numbers 22,222 and 47 went by. There were so many numbers, and they were speeding quickly past me. I asked God,” How do I get them out of the river?”

Before I could get an answer, the scene changed and I saw an isolated inlet or cove. The water was calmer and crystal clear as it meandered about the shore. There were smooth stones and treasures beneath the surface of the water. I was watching as a very large bald eagle appeared and began to stroll through the water. The eagle was intently searching the bottom of the river. I could see that laying among the river rocks there were jewels, gold pieces, coins and scrolls. The eagle was bobbing up and down with great effort looking for particular items. He would pick them up and then take them away. I felt that the eagle represented the Spirit of Prophesy. In my spirit I knew that this was how these treasures were identified and retrieved for others.

I began to seek the Lord for the meaning to this vision because I wanted to know how to release this river of finances. I wondered if there was a fishing pole for the numbers in the river. I kept praying and searching the scriptures. Later I heard someone reading the passage about God speaking and releasing His voice over the waters. “…the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters. Then God said ‘Let there be light’ and there was light.” (Genesis 1:2-3)

When we are in the Spirit, we can say what we see, and by faith it will come from the river of His Presence. I don’t need the fishing pole to pull them out; I can speak into being what God is showing. This is how we release Heaven onto the earth. Jesus said, “the Son can do nothing of Himself unless it is something that He sees the Father doing: for whatever the Father does these things the Son also does in like manner.” (John 5:19) When we see it, we say it

and we receive it.
