After some teens prayed for me, I was taken into the Spirit and found myself standing on the prairie. I was up on a high hill overlooking a huge landscape. The air was full of the Life of God and everything was glowing and shining due to the Presence of the Lord. It was the Glory as well as the sun overhead. I was standing on a path, facing the horizon in the midst of what I thought was prairie grass. A gentle breeze was blowing on me causing the grasses to wave in the wind.
Then I noticed that the very tall and vibrant grass was really white wheat. Miles and miles of white wheat that was swaying in the wind as if it was dancing to some subtle melody that was permeating the air. I was enjoying the whole experience of seeing “the fields that are white for the harvest.”Jesus could see into the Spirit and He said,
“Behold I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.”John 4:35 KJV
Suddenly I heard what sounded like the sound of approaching thunder. The ground began to tremble under my feet. I looked down the path but I did not see anything at first; I just felt the intense shaking. Eventually a cloud of dust appeared and then I was taken up in the air to receive an eagle-eye view of an incredibly beautiful and vast array of horses. They were running and pounding the ground with their hooves. It was as if their hooves were creating the music of drums or releasing thunder across the earth.
One could hear the snorting as they breathed in and out the Breath of God. It seemed that this snorting was purposeful and powerful, literally bringing the winds of change and breakthrough.
I was amazed at the strength and endurance that they displayed. Each horse was immense, powerful and majestic. They were running and pushing forward. Despite their beauty, they carried an element of judgment and destiny. Their hooves would be used to dance upon injustice, crush the heads of the enemy and thresh out the grain. Sometimes you could see only horses and other times there were riders on their backs.
