BURNING LOVE VS BURNING ANGER

Song of Solomon 8:6

Put me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm. For love is as strong as death, jealous as the grave. Its flames are like fire, the very flame of the Lord.

We all burn for something because we are made to burn for the Lord. Proverbs 20:27 says the spirit of man is the lamp of the Lord. We have been made with a passion like a candle inside of us. We will either burn for the things of the enemy or this world - such as lust, ambition, fame, recognition, bitterness, rage, and anger - or with the fiery passion and burning love of the Lord that will never be put out.

"We have to have a burning love or we will have a burning fear."

Psalm 119:32 states, "I shall run the way of Your commandments, for You will enlarge my heart." When we run hard after the Lord, our hearts get bigger. As we listen to God's Word and experience His love, His love and passion begin to burn inside of us! Our hearts respond flowing with love and passion back to the Lord, and He breathes more of His love and fire back to us. As a result, we get more and more on fire for God and it begins to spill out on others! It's like a perpetual burning and like a fire that never goes out!! It's like the fire on the altar where our heart is a place of sacrifice.

It is vital in this season to speak words of hope, life, and love to everyone and everything around us! Since September we have been in the season of the voice. We must watch what comes out of our mouths! What we see we say and what we say we will see. What I think I see I'll be tempted to say it even if it isn't true because it looks true to me. We can't judge by what we see with our eyes; we have to see through the eyes of God and the Word of God because only God's Word is true. It doesn't change; only God's Words stay the same.

God spoke to Apostle Lisa that this year is a crowning year.

You crown the year with Your goodness,

and Your paths drip with abundance.

Psalm 65:11

When God allows us to go through something and we overcome, we get a crown. We don't wear the "corona crown." We wear Jesus' mercy and glory, and the crown of life. We are going through things right now so we can get a crown. In heaven we don't get to take our money or possessions, we get to take crowns and we either have them or we don't. It says in Revelation when they get to the throne and they come before Him, the elders take their crowns and throw them at Jesus' feet and worship. We don't get to choose the crowns we get, the Lord brings things into our lives. The things we are going through right now will help us to get crowns. We should be rejoicing! When Peter and John were beaten for the Lord, they came out and they were laughing and rejoicing because they were counted worthy to suffer for Jesus!

God's burning love stops riots and causes people to get out of the grave. His burning love will turn the world upside down!!! God loves us and He wants a burning flame inside of each of us. He desires for us to be a light to the world! We must burn hot enough that the fragrance inside of us is being released to the world around us. His love empowers us in our day to day life so we can have joy unspeakable and full of glory. He fills us so we can have faith and begin to speak life, hope, and healing over everyone. God wants to take us, put us in a lamp stand, and light us up so they can see in the darkness and know where to go, and they can see that there's hope and something more.

This is the most important year we have lived in our entire lives. God is bringing forth the Kingdom and a new wine skin. We begin to burn because He breathes on us and His breath brings understanding. As He opens His Word we receive revelation of Him and His fire bursts forth in our hearts.

Calling the Sabbath a Delight

Do you feel tired no matter how much rest you get? Does it seem like everything is a struggle or hard? Do you always seem to run out of time?

The true question is: Do you keep the Sabbath?

Exodus 31:13 says, “But as for you, speak to the sons of Israel, saying, ‘You shall surely observe My Sabbaths; for this is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am the Lord who sanctifies you."

Later, in verse 14, it actually says that if you profane the Sabbath you will be put to death and, if you work on it, you will be cut off from among the people. That's pretty serious! It is a sign between God and us that He sanctifies us. It is also a time where God sanctifies us. The Sabbath is a law of God that can be overlooked or viewed as not as important, but to God it is very important! He even kept the Sabbath after creating the world and He is all powerful!!

As you study the Sabbath in the Bible you find that it is a time that God calls

you to set your time apart to Him and take delight in Him.

Isaiah 58:13-14 paints a beautiful picture of the Sabbath:

“If because of the Sabbath, you turn your foot From doing your own pleasure on My holy day, And call the Sabbath a delight, the holy day of the Lord honorable, And honor it, desisting from your own ways, From seeking your own pleasure And speaking your own word, 14 Then you will take delight in the Lord, And I will make you ride on the heights of the earth; And I will feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father, For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

Basically, the Lord is asking us to set aside our desires and

pleasure (idolatry) to delight in Him and His Sabbath!

The coming revival will be a revival of the Word of God and of time, like the time of Nehemiah chapter 13. In this chapter, Nehemiah excluded foreigners and restored tithing and the Sabbath. The Word of the Lord will be read and honored again,

and out of that will come miraculous power!

The spirit of the antichrist changes times, seasons, and laws causing the saints to be worn out (Daniel 7:25). There have been many people in this season that felt very lethargic, worn out, and like they could never get enough rest. We prayed and fasted until God revealed that it was the spirit of lethargy.

The Sabbath is a strategy against this spirit. According to the law of first fruits: When you give God the first of anything, the rest is sanctified and multiplied. This law applies to keeping the Sabbath as well. When you give God the first of your time, the rest of your time and your week, in this case, will be multiplied!!! Also, when you obey the times, seasons, and laws of the Lord, the enemy will be unable to wear you down.

The Lord is our strength through His joy, light burdens, and all the other blessings, mantles, and power He gives us.

In this season, and from now on, make sure that you set aside a Sabbath for the Lord and delight in it and Him on that day! It will please the Lord, give you strength, and cause you to ride upon the heights of the earth and eat of the heritage of Jacob!
