A VISION THAT WILL MAKE YOU RUN!
Lisa McFarland
What time is it? It is time to run! The Bible says in Habakkuk 2:2. “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets that he may run who reads it." There is a vision that will make us run. The Bible says that "they who wait upon the Lord shall mount up on wings like eagles" because we need to see from another perspective. We need to see a little bit higher. When they mount up on wings like eagles, "they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not faint." You want to know why? Because they saw something that got ahold of them and got inside of them, and it began to move in them. They couldn't help themselves. They couldn't stay where they were. If we aren’t running it’s because we haven’t seen the vision. We can’t run anywhere if we don’t know where to go! We need a greater revelation of Jesus so that we move out of that dimension. We need to prophesy out of the future not where we’re coming from.
WRITE THE VISION: Job said in Job 19:24, “I wish I had an iron pen, and it was written on the tablets of my heart." God says I’m going to take the stony tablets of your heart and I’m going to give you a heart of flesh. God wants us to hide his words in our hearts that we won’t sin against Him. We won’t forget what he said, because it’s written in our hearts.
AND MAKE IT PLAIN: How do we make it plain? The Breath of the Almighty comes upon the vision so we can understand it, and it’s plain to us. He might be saying like He said to Abraham, “Go and I will show you.” It feels like we are wandering around, but we’re not wandering; we are being led by the Spirit and we’re pursuing a vision. Even if we have to wait patiently for it and possess it through another generation, the vision is true, and we have written it in our hearts. As the vision goes through our DNA spiritually and naturally, the generations after us possess it too.
Stop trying to figure it out and "lean not on your own understanding, but in all your ways, acknowledge Him and he will direct your paths." "Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart." "Seek first the Kingdom of God and all these things will be added unto you." Many of us have had visions imparted to us, but we have not prayed them through to the point to where they are plain to us and we understand what God wants. We need the Holy Spirit to come and give us heavenly contacts that will help us focus so we can see.
We may have the strength of an ox, and the anointing of a wild buffalo. However, if we don’t know what to do with our strength and our vision, we will just stand in the pasture, grow old, and die. There has to come a buffalo called the Roaming Buffalo: the visionary. Apostle Lisa recently published a children's book The Roaming Buffalo. It's based on a Native American legend about a herd of buffalos that started to run out of grass in the field they were in. They got nervous, and they didn't know what to do. In the herd, there was one male buffalo, who carried the vision. He was called the Roaming Buffalo. When they got to place where they needed fresh provision, the Roaming Buffalo would separate himself out away from the rest of the herd to go after the the green grass (fresh bread and revelation). In the story it was a young buffalo with a vision to help his herd and do something great. He wandered and went after it until he found it. When he found it, he stayed there and ate it. He chewed on it until he himself had been strengthened so he could go back and get the others to share the fresh provision.
Psalm 119:18 says, “Open my eyes that I may behold wonderful things from your law." God wants to open our eyes and our ears. Isaiah 50:3-4 says, “Every morning God opens my ear, and He teaches me about His Word." God wants to open us up and download a vision into us. He also desires to impart the faith required to carry out our vision like those in Hebrews 11. For the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God. There are places that God is so deep we can’t search Him out. There are places where God is so deep, that we go into an unknown realm. There’s a realm of faith and a realm of revelation that it’s just like a black hole in a good way. We implode as we go into those places of the depths of His wisdom and knowledge. Our capacity will come from heaven and from the Spirit realm.
